Quorlan's Rings

Quorlan has worn a variety of rings in his travels around the multiverse. His symbol is based on two rings which he persistently wears no matter where he is within the multiverse.

The first ring is what forms the outer portion of the Q Logo. It is made of a polished finish titanium band, with a secondary half-band attached to the top which holds a spherical amethyst stone in a unique, free-floating cut-out. Another version of this ring bears a spherical onyx stone and can be seen in this image:

The inner part of the Q Logo uses the shape of Quorlan's other ring as its base. This ring is formed of three titanium bands. Two outer bands of polished titanium surround and contain a third, detachable band of black titanium. In the symbol this ring is inverted with a vertical line through the segment of the ring which exposes both colors of the titanium bands to form an unusual letter Q. This ring is pictured here:

The latest in the series of Quorlan's rings is custom made in sterling silver. There is a fictional story behind the forging of the ring (a.k.a. Specter) at The Quorlan Chronicles. In the real world, this ring is being custom forged by expert craftsmen and will be a reality in the weeks to come. This is a photo of the ring. It is now an exact image of what the final ring looks like.

Quorlan's creator Actually owns real-life versions of these rings and can frequently be seen wearing at least one of them in his day to day life.
