Q Symbol
From Qwiki
Quorlan spent decades developing and perfecting the symbol of power which has come to represent him. The
symbol has various parts which carry different meanings and have many uses in the art of wielding magical energies. The individual parts and brief descriptions of their meanings can be found in the following image:
Beginning at the top, the five parts of the symbol are:
The Sphere - symbolizes the planets throughout the cosmos. Distant planets are known to vary wildly and contain an infinite array of energies which can be harnessed and shaped by those with the proper skill, knowledge and training.
The Arch - symbolizes the mysteries beyond the sky and all that is unknown both within this world and beyond it. The energies of the unknown can be both powerful and dangerous. Only those with an intimate understanding of the deepest mysteries of the Multiverse should ever tamper with the energies and powers associated with mystery.
The Ring - symbolizes the skies above and the power of the air and weather. The power of air means the power to command the winds and shape them to one's will, while the power of weather can grant one mastery over the forces of nature themselves when properly understood and commanded.
The Globe - symbolizes the earth beneath one's feet. It stands for the power of solidity, earth and ground from which stability is found and molded.
The Eye - symbolizes omniscient sight, the power to see beyond normal sight. This power can be shaped by skilled conjurers to grant various visual abilities such as seeing through walls and other objects, scrying faraway places and activities, and conjuring illusory visions which appear quite real to all.
